Headwork, let alone camshafts, are often overlooked on many 4E & 5E builds. A combination of a "good from the factory" head from Toyota and lack of cam options on the market are likely the cause of this. The limitations of the OE head show to light when large turbos are fitted to a low capacity engine causing lag issues. A correctly suited camshaft can largely benefit spool times and subsequently power.
We have a wide range of over and under shim configurations however we keep the 272ø overshim option in stock as its versatile and its most likely suitable to the majority of builds.
